Arriving by car
Coming from the north, take the A12 Inntal motorway, exit at Kufstein Süd, then continue via Pass Thurn on the B161 and through the Felbertauern Tunnel on the B108. From the south, take the A13/A22 Brenner motorway and continue through the Pustertal valley on the SS49/B100 to Sillian. From the east, travel via the A2, the A10 Tauern motorway and the B100 through the Drautal valley to Lienz. At Tassenbach, turn up into the Tilliachtal valley.
Getting to Tilliach by train
There is a direct train from Vienna to Lienz. From Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck, you can reach Lienz with a change along the way. From Lienz, the Drautal railway continues to Tassenbach. From there, Postbus line 965 takes you to Tilliach.
Flying to East Tyrol
The nearest airports are Innsbruck (INN, approx. 170 km), Salzburg (SZG, approx. 210 km), Klagenfurt (KLU, approx. 180 km) and Munich (MUC, approx. 290 km). From there, continue by hire car, train or shuttle directly to us.
